What is Fast Track at Medellín airport?

Fast Track is the airport's priority channel for arriving and departing passengers, operated with an authorized host who meets you at the jet bridge. Instead of joining the general immigration line, which runs 45 to 90 minutes when two or three international flights land together, you are walked through a dedicated lane, helped with baggage and customs, and handed over to your driver in the public hall. On departure the same host takes you through priority check-in and security. It is the closest thing to a VIP arrival that exists at José María Córdova.

Who is it for?

• Families with small children or older travelers who cannot stand in line for an hour after a red-eye.
• Business travelers with a meeting the same afternoon.
• Groups arriving together who want to leave the airport together.
• Anyone landing after 9 pm, when the lines are longest and the taxi stand is emptiest.

Why is the service paused?

The airport suspended the Fast Track program for third-party operators. We keep this page online because the service will return, and because travelers keep asking for it. Until then, the private transfer with meet and greet at the arrivals door remains available every day, and it covers everything after immigration: the driver, the luggage, the tolls and the ride to your hotel.

What happens when I book while it is paused?

Nothing is charged. Leave your email on the waitlist from this page or message us on WhatsApp, and we notify you the day the airport reopens the program. If your trip is soon, book the transfer now; Fast Track can be added to an existing transfer booking later at no extra administrative cost.
